Algar do Carvão A 90 metre-deep volcanic chimney formed approximately 3,200 years ago after the magma drained from the main chimney receding to the magma chamber.

Caldeirinha Pêro Botelho This algar, also known as Algar dos Diabretes, located in Serra Branca, is easily accessible, and it is possible to get around its entire crater. However, among all the caves on the island of Graciosa, it is currently the only one that needs climbing equipment and qualified personnel to be able to access its interior. "Os Montanheiros" descended and explored this algar for the first time in 1964.

Furna do Abel Also known as Furna de Lavar or Furna do Roque, it is located in Canada das Furnas, in the parish of São Mateus. This lava tube is one of the largest of graceful. It has high ceilings and very wide sections and it has 3 skylights resulting from the reduction of the ceiling that gives it natural light.
Furna do Enxofre A 194-metre wide and 40-metre high volcanic cave, it features stalactites and a sulphurous, cold water lake, 130 metres in diameter. The first explorations of the cave took place during the nineteenth century, with the participation of international researchers such as Prince Albert I of Monaco in 1879, who was one of the first to descend down to the lake.
Gruta das Torres At five km, it is one of the longest lava tubes in the world and has been classified as a regional natural monument.
Mountain’s House The Mountain’s House (CM) is an obligatory stop at Pico Mountain. Its main goal is to support those who want to climb the mountain and to make the registration and control in accordance with the regulation. The CM is complemented by a bar with panoramic views, where you can listen to the stillness of nature and enjoy the magnificent scenery that embraces the entire west coast of Pico and Faial islands. It provides information about the geology, biology, history, climate and legal framework of the Pico Mountain Nature Reserve, both in information panels and in movie format, which can be viewed in the auditorium.
Ribeira de Maloás A unique geologic formation at Malbusca that resulted from the contact of the sea with the lava flow, it is part of a waterfall that stands approximately 20 metres high.
